If christians follow the bible why havent they stoned harold camping yet?

the bible cleary states false prophets are to be stoned to death. All of these so called "christians" cherry picking which verses they follow.

May i also point out females preachers ignore this verse

1Cor.14:34-35 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.

35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
 
Theist - "Oh, well thats in the Old Testament...we don't follow those commandments anymore"

Me - "Aren't the 10 commandments also in the Old Testament...why do you still preach that?"

Theist -"....Free will, God doesn't want us all to be machines"
 
Just because Harold Camping hasn't been stoned yet doesn't mean he will be unpunished. If God believes being a false prophet is a sin, he will most likely send Camping to Hell.
 
you accuse us of cherry picking just because we read the bible as a whole. the OT laws were not meant to apply to all people for all time in all cases. Christ came and fulfilled the law, and now having as much revelation on God as we're going to get, we are expected to behave as spiritual adults capable of recognizing our own guilt, not spiritual toddlers who need to be spanked on occasion.
