While you could listen to the top contributor over there, who I might add loves to quote the bible as evidence, without a shred of it, I think you're catching on to one of the main reasons why people are turning away from the teachings of Christianity,. Christianity was used mainly as a form of controlling peasants during the middle ages and onwards. It works really well on people who can't read and don't ask questions, not so well on people who do. The faith part is indoctrination, "believe or you will suffer and burn in hell" It's quite amazing how far these guys have fallen from the actual philosophyy and teachings of Jesus.

No, I define faith as believing in something without 100% evidence.

Therefore, science and religion are both faith based.

I place my faith in God. I got nothing to lose, and eternity to gain!

most of us are raised and taught from young age also it teaches your morals and rules. the others they just follow with the crow saying that they are in a religion but they break religion rules which doesnt make no sense cause its like dooming yourself to whatever hell your religion believes
