...additional stuff? ecu? got a intake for my civic, been hearing bout ecu not accepting the intake. do i just connect and go
 
Im not exactly how the older moldels work with the maf sensor. but with mine the engine light came on at first, because of all the extra air coming through. Just needed to be reset and it never came on again.
 
intakes are plug-n-play. meaning just install and move on. sometimes the ecu will say things but you shouldnt worry. PLUG-N-PLAY. have fun.
