...months contraceptive effectiveness? So i am going on holiday soon and worked out that i should be on my period for the beggining of my holiday. I am on the contraceptive pill at the moment and i have my period in the 7 days that i stop taking it every month. I just wondered if i missed say 4 or 5 tablets off of this months tablets so that my period comes earlier so i am not on for my holiday, will it mean that i am not covered for contraception when i start taking it again 7 days later?
