If I preorder a DVD, will it arrive at my address on the release date?

Because I'm pretty tempted to preorder, because I want it now. But I could get out and go get it early that morning. And have it sooner, right?
 
I think they will send it to you the day it's released and you will recive it in the amount of days it usually takes.
 
it would be better to just order from the movie guys. they have all the screening copies of the movies in theaters. they ship out within 24hours of your order. thats wer i get all my stuff its all like MEGA clear
