if i reset my smartphone will it fix the internally cracked screen?

i have a acer liquid e smartphone i bought it 1 week ago. i almost dropped it but i caught it but when i looked at the screen it looked cracked except it didn't feel cracked. my parents are going to want to kill me because i just got it. is there anyway of fixing it or do i have to get it replaced?
