If I update my iPad 2 to iOS 5, will my current apps will be deleted?

I have purchase apps directed into my iPad 2, if I update it to iso 5 will my apps be deleted?

i recently updated my ipod touch 4g it deleted all the apps but it reinstalled them because i had synced them to itunes.
so, yes it will probably delete them.
but, if you have synced everything and done all that stuff then it should re-install them after the update

Even its not probable to loose them ( unless an unexpected error ), just for security, you should transfer your apps to your iTunes and then update
