predates it? Also explain why? Jesus wasnt mentioned until 1,700 years ago, not even the Hindus mention Jesus!
I get disgusted with the ignorance of christian fundies. they dont even know the history of their religion, yet they make baseless claims about the origins of their false beliefs.
 
If they were intelligent or educated they would not be fundies!
 
Phoenician monotheistic belief in El is older than YHWH.

While there are other divine entities in the Phoenician pantheon, they are all only aspects of El. Exactly like Jesus and the Holy Spirit are aspects of God in Christianity.
 
So many claims - no evidence cited.

Actually, if monotheism predates the invention of writing the it may be impossible to settle the question.
