If my shot gets blocked while I'm in the air, if I land with the ball is it a travel?

There are some nuances to the questions:
a) what if they pin the ball against my hands the entire shot?
b) what if I let go and they still pin the ball?
I don't think it's a travel but there seems to be much confusion. I should be able to go straight back up and shoot....or dribble the ball away.
 
Once someone else touches the ball, the "step clock" is reset.
