Do they cover it in packaging? I'm sending a PS3 boxed to my cousin and I've just arranged for Parcelforce to pick it up in the next half hour, will they put it in a bag of some sort so nobody can see what it is? I don't have anything myself that I could cover the PS3 box with.

No pack it yourself hun, pack it up good and proper because parcelforce will literally chuck it off and onto their vans. Cover it in something, anything, an old box stuffed with scrunched up newspapers, masacre an old shoe box and re tape it around the ps3 with some sort of padding inside.

Trust me, if you want it to arrive in one piece you need to do this.

Have you taken out insurance too given it's an expensive item? If you haven't, I would recommend doing it, and make sure you tell your cousin to sign for it as 'unchecked'. If it gets to its destination and it's signed for in good condition, you won't have a leg to stand on.

They don't provide packaging. You need to wrap it well, because they throw parcels around as much as the post office do - think football.

Of course not - thats down to you...I sent my Coffee machine for a service which was picked up by PF...all they do is put a label on it and put in the van.
