If someone gets Amnesia and forgets that they were a Christian are they still saved?

Were they truly ever saved? Who knows...seems to me if they were saved and were absolutely "God's Child" he wouldn't have caused them to be in the situation they are in.

Elaborate more. Not just a Christian and an Atheist, but also a Jew, Budhist, Hindu, and Wicken, Noiw you have the makings of most people in general.

Impossible, for a true believer who is born again of spirit not flesh can never forget who he now follows and why. To the secular world, "a mind is a terrible thing to waste" however to a believer who has the Holy Spirit living inside, the mind (human brain) is bypassed. For all righteous knowledge is stored in the heart of man not in his head.

Regardless of how many neurons are lost by diseases like this one, the genuine childlike love you hold in your heart for God will never diminish one iota.

Even worse, what if God fell on his head and forgot that you were saved, then it wouldn't matter if you were an atheist, had amnesia or were brain dead. Everything always seem to even out in the end, so why worry about it?

if they were saved before hand then they will be saved forever. Amen.

That's for sure and can't become Atheist after that...Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Php 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Joh 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
Joh 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
Joh 10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
Joh 10:30 I and my Father are one.

I'm going to take a stab at this against my better judgment. Thumbs me down if you must.

From a purely philosophical point of view, what was it that the original pre-amnesia christian did of themselves to earn the initial salvation? I suggest that they did nothing. They were saved by their faith in grace. If that is the case, once saved, what can the post amnesia christian do of themselves to lose what was provided through the initial inspiration of faith?

Put another way, what can a man do to make God change his or her mind?

They'll spend the first half of eternity in Hell and the second half in Heaven.

If they forget they will go to hell and eternal torture will be their fate.

"The smoke of their torture ascendeth forever and ever, amen."

That's where the expression Hot-damn! originated.
.

hum

that would be quite the pickle

why if they had multiple personalities and one was a Christian, and one was an atheist?

On Christian doctrine:

Christ taught his disciples all men, atheist or not are saved by grace....

1 Cor. 15: 20-22

But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall ALL be made alive.

The catch is that God rewards everyone according to their works....so salvation has different meanings in different contexts.

"What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?" James 2:14

To overcome SPIRITUAL death, one has to be obedient to the law of Christ. Spiritual death is separation from God.

No, they are going to hell at the hands of the all mighty one. Praise you Chuck Norris! Praise your name!!
