Both Judaism and Christianity teach that you cannot choose to convert. God knows whether you say words or mean it. This is why Christians pray for the gift of perseverance at Death. You cannot command conversion.
But what if I made the wrong decision? What if I chose Islam and find there are 72 virgin Catholic nuns waiting for me? I think I'll stay atheist and take my chances. It's a myth that atheists convert to religion on their deathbeds. In fact, it's more likely that a religious person will lose their faith when they are faced by death.
I am a Muslim already, so no i will not convert. And whats the point of converting at the last minute just to go to heaven? In islam you only convert for the love of Allah, not for any greed etc
