If your child(or future child) told you they were gay, how would you react?

I would be shocked, initially, but then accepting and supportive of it.

Would it change my opinion? No. I already fully support gay rights and believe that they should not be treated any differently than I get treated. They should have all the same rights and privileges I have, including the right to marry the person they choose.

I support homosexual's rights. EVERYONE has the right to live how they wish, the Government should never interfere unless other's safety is threatened.
Anyway, I wouldn't mind if my child turned out to be a homosexual. I'd just request PDA to be kept at a minimum.

i would not react he or she is still my child, and i am still my child's father i may not like it or agree with it but i would accept it, it is my child's life and instead of making it harder on my child by turning my back on them i would still love them. you can disagree with something and yet still be civil to it, it is called love, and respect for a human being. and as for homosexuals i do not really care that is there life and at the end they must answer to GOD for it and they already go threw enough with hate crimes, and prejudice so why make it harder being a D@#K. To each his own. Right.!

I wouldn't be upset, but I would be a little disappointed that I probably would get any grandkids. I'd be supportive, though. I think the Bible considers loving your children far more important than hating them for violating obscure Old Testament rules. It wouldn't really change my opinions on issue involving homosexuals. I'm already pro gay stuff.
