I'm a newbie on tumblr.com and I need help! 10 points!?

How do i post stuff on my tumblr blog, because everytime I try to post stuff-- it goes on my profile, rather than the blog I made.

There is a Tumblr blog and your Tumblr dashboard. When you post something, it will go to both. Your Tumblr Dashboard ALSO has all the posts from the people that you are following, the most recent items being at the top. Let me know if this still doesn't make sense.
