Well I have a few headunits, amps, and subs picked out (those are the three things i am going to invest in)
First, I am getting the headunit. So that's where ill start my questions. If im going to have an amp and sub in the back, what kind of outputs the headunit will need. Also, I have a 2001 grand am GT if that helps.
Second I will probably get the amp. How many watts will give me a reasonable bump without blowing any windows? I am probably looking to be in the market for two 10" subs to hook to it. I am cheap but i know you can really notice when you get a piece of crap system so im looking for good products on a budget. Are there any specific outputs or hookups that i will need to look for?
Third will be the subs. As I mentioned, probably two 10". I am building the box myself so dont worry about that. Again, i want a decent wattage but not too much.
If you have specific products, please feel free to give your opinion and help a fellow music lover out. Any sites where i can find cheap equipment (other than ebay and craigslist) would also be appreciated.
