I'm having problems with my wireless connection for my ps3, thanks in advance!?

I recently changed from the older white bt homehub to the new black one, the wireless connection with the white one was amazing but the black one keeps cutting out, and it's generally very poor, I changed to the black one about a month and a half ago but it hasn't got any better, it's wired to my computer and it works fine. I'll be very pleased if you can help me at all! ;]
