I'm hearing bells (and it's not in my head)?

I have a new Dell Inspiron 531. I know very little about PCs, but I can be doing anything from paying bills to playing games and ocassionally my PC will "ding" like a bell. Anyone know what/why this is?
 
Your becoming clinically insane and need to be admitted. If I were you I'd check myself in.
