do I do it? I am the legal guardian of my 14 year old grand daughter, and she wants to be home schooled, so she was planning on taking high school online. She has gone to a public school all of her life, and wishes to change that. I want to get her started in homeschooling as soon as possible. How do I get her started in homeschooling? What do I tell the schools? Just, what am I supposed to do to get this all started?

Try talking to the school's principal and I'm sure he/she can provide you more information or direct you to the information.

However, I would really be against homeschooling... in my opinion, it takes too much away from the child. There are important lessons that a child learns in life during school and interacting with other students/teachers/activities/surroundings, etc... Even the negative things that might be learned are an important element in life.

If the school is not good, try changing to another school. Either way, good luck.
