if the price is right then yea it's sounds pretty good. if no major repairs are need youll only spend about 300-500 a year on maintenance. if any major repair is needed you HAVE to take it to the dealership for repair and get ready to hand over ur first born child for anything they do.

It has 73k miles and looks pretty well maintained, but I've heard that BMW's are notorious for repair costs. Is it worth the car and how much would I be looking at to maintain the car per year?
*It costs $9,500 before taxes, titles, etc.

Full service history is a must the car may have low miles for it`s age but that does not matter. You can take the car to a good garage and they can do the same work as a dealer a lot cheaper. Yes they do cost more to maintain but no more than any other premium car. It all depends on the miles you do and how often it needs to be serviced the good thing it should have a cam chain rather than a belt that saves a small fortune, check it has a chain and does not not rattle.
