Must come with manual transmission
Can be an suv, coupe, or sedan
and gets pretty good gas mileage.
 
New Hyundai Sonata V6... that should easily do it. It's no sports car but it has some serious acceleration for a 'family car'. Get a 2009 loaded for less then 26K - 250 HP too. And I'm sure you know all about Hyundai's 'Assurance' Program too. That's a bonus.
