and fake world.? Ok, I'll try my best what kind of book I'm looking for. PLEASE READ MY FULL DESCRIPTION:
I am a complete noob when it comes to literature, so sorry if I can't explain myself any better...
I am a 15 year old Canadian student, just to give you a general idea.
What I'm looking for is certainly something that is not real: I'm unsure how it is called, I think "sci-fi". It can have a lot of elements of reality and a few un-real things, as long as it has elements of something that does not exist in our current world.
I am looking for 3 books:
1) I read the book "The Giver" and "Locked Inside" and I LOVED THEM. That kind of style interests me a lot! If you haven't read them, it's basically about how people are being fooled and led to think there is nothing beyond the "suburbs" they live in. Their life is restricted to being very safe and they have no choice whatsoever.
That is the first kind of book I am looking for! Something that has to do with the human race being deceived, or ruled, or... I don't know! Something very different from our world basically
2) Something with aliens. I know there are TOONS of books with aliens and abductions, and crop circles... and I LOVE those kinds of books. Is there one where Aliens have "bred" humans and are now watching over them? or something like that... Basically a book about either how aliens are in some way coexisting with humans, or some other sort of involvement... A good book (or series! It's a lot better if it's a chain of books!) about aliens would be awesome! (I don't want it to be a "documentary" style book, it can be completely made up, the crazier the better, lmao)
3) The third category is either a mix of 1) and 2) or something completely different but that deals with either not real things, or not real facts. A good series of books that are popular and I HAVE to read
I do not care about the length or difficulty of the book: the longer the better. 100 times better if it's a series! The only thing I do care about is that I want the book to be somewhat FAMOUS. I don't want a complete unknown; I'm looking for something I can talk about with other people. If the unknown is REALLY good though, go ahead and suggest it, I'll read it.
