...DVD ripper, how do I convert to mp4? I'm ripping some of my DVD's to my computer, but they are in a weird format that I can only play with vlc media player. Nothing is wrong with VLC, but the movie is in a folder with a bunch of weird files..I want to make it easier to watch by converting it. How do I convert them to mp4 or mpeg? This way, I can play the movies in windows Media Player or Media Classic Player.
 
to convert your current files you could use any video converter (or any dvd converter)
but i would use handbrake to rip your dvds in the first place it will save it as an mp4 or mkv file (your choice in the settings)
