experiencing constipation? First let me know that I did not go gluten free to relieve constipation. That was to help rid my house of gluten for my celiac husband.

I normally eat rice with steamed veggies for lunch every day. Usually even dinner if I'm not in the mood to cook. It is white rice, and that won't change to brown rice. I had a BAD experience with brown rice once and I can't bring myself to eat it again. Sometimes I eat baked red potatoes with I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Spray, sour cream, 1 slice of American cheese, bacon bits, and Tabasco sauce.

I am currently trying to add more to my diet, as I know it's not enough for a person to run off of in a day. Sometimes I add salads with olive oil based dressings.
When I said I eat healthy constantly, I mean that all of my meals are healthy. Not that I am constantly eating.

There are many reasons that you may be experiencing this problem.

You could try to add some fiber to your diet in the form of a suplement... But I don' trecomend artificial laxatives... Theya re very harsh and can cause problems in the long term.

How long have you been on this diet? Your body may be adjusting to the new intake and just hadn't found balance yet.

Unless you start to get abdominal pain or swelling... I would give it a while longer just to see if your body can work things out on it's own... But if you start to feel pain or swelling, go to a doctor.

There are many factors to chronic constapation and if it gets too bad, a blockage may need to be treated by a doctor.

You probably need to add more good protein to your diet, such as fish and chicken. You could be experiencing diarrhea because your body is getting rid of toxins or because your diet isn't quite as well-balanced as it should be.
