...on nutrition facts? Do people usually ask for the nutrition facts when they go to fast food restaurants when they ask for the menus?
 
Well "fast food" is not usually low calorie unless you choose the salad bowl (no dressing) but restaurants such as McDonalds do list the fat/calorie content of every item on their menu.

As long as you only eat out in this way as an occasional treat (once a month) you can eat "normal" food if you wish. Its what you eat 9/10ths of the time that makes you overweight, eating that isn't low calorie occasionally won't affect you.
 
Fast food restuarants are the wrong place for someone on a low calorie diet. Even the salads in restaurants have high calorie dressings. Some pizzas restaurant might have an undressed salad. See if you can find a vegetarian cafe, they might have something low cal on the menu amd they might be prepared to make their own dishes healthier by removing extras such as cheese from the recipe.

It can be as false economy counting raw calories as you don't absorb all the available calories in the more fibrous foodstuffs. If you eat a baked potato it will fill you up for hours and the slow energy release with allow you to be more active for longer, burning off any extra calories consumed.

If you go on a low sugar, low sat fat, low salt, low alcohol diet, the calories will take care of themselves.
 
Over eating, is the surest way to live an unhealthy fatty life. Please regulate your food intake otherwise; you risk health issues now and in the future. These days people eat far, far too much food for what their bodies require. These fast food places should be given a wide birth as regards staying fat free. If you have the willpower to exercise then you should have the willpower to not over indulge in eating.
