i found out in 2007 too and i got upset then too, im just upset all over again by seeing the movie

Interesting how people are just finding out, I read the book in 2007 when it came out. :p
The relationship was never to be, in my opinion. Snape was a bit too awkward about it and could never survive in a working nuclear family.

How can you get depressed over a work of fiction? You do get feelings whilst reading the story but when you have read it that's it - it's back to the real world.
