I don't really know how to phrase this question.Ill just state my feelings on it..
1.Okay I believe we were made for a purpose, but not nessicarially by God or something.
2.I think that we shouldnt have to worship to make our lives better, sorta like "i didnt ask to be put here,my life sucks,so i dont think i will thank you for that"
3.I know that some things are wrong, but homo sexuality and abortion are not
4.Everyone is equal in my book, unless you are purposly a horrible, lying,or conieving person
So,what religion do i belong to? If there is one? If you need more details just put them in your question.Im 14,and this is really bothering me
1.I dont want jesus comments.Im going to "hell"? Thats great, scare me into your religion.Very smart
2.The rest of you are being helpful, thanks
One more thing. When i said my life sucks,i didnt say im the worst off in the world.Idiots,im aware there are starving kids in africa, but is that relevent? No

When people say they're spiritual, not religious, that's what they mean. Instead of being told what's right or wrong, and that you're a monster if you question it, you're actually looking at what makes sense and living based on that. Good job! You already figured out things that Christians refuse to accept.
Don't let anyone tell you that you're doing something wrong by trying to figure out for yourself what makes sense. It sounds like at 14, you're smarter than a lot of adults. Keep it up

I guess that would make you Humanistic.
Unfortunenatly that does not get you forgiven or saved, only Christianity does that.

Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Eph 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
1Jn 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1Jn 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1Jn 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

If you think that some deity created the universe, then a deist.

If you think that there is some plan behind a more natural universe then a pantheist.

But why do you believe we were made?
And why do you believe we were made for a purpose?

What evidence do you have to support those beliefs?

your life sucks ? you have any idea how many people are dying from lack of food and water ..can you even imaging not eating or drinking for more than 8 hours ? or how many people are living a country that's under constant bombing ?

1. If we were made for a purpose then wat purpose? To earn Money, to marry, to rock the world...wat purpose do you think is rite?

2. Try to figure out the purpose and u will know whether u should worship or not.

3. Try to study the basis on which morals of the society are based and u will know why homo and abortion are wrong...

4. Everyone is really equal in my view too but is a normal person equal to a mad one in ur dictionary?

Okay I think you are depressed because you are saying "I didn't ask to be put here". I know, I was down that road. And I completely disagree with #1. We all have a purpose, and it was assigned by God. Only the wise and persistent complete the tasks. God gave you a mission, but no one said it would be easy right?

And 100% agree with #3 and 4. In fact, the Bible says we should respect and love EVERYONE including the gays and the evil.

What do you base your belief that we are made for a purpose on? That is probably the root cause of your confusion.

I agree with you on all your points except maybe #1, I still don't see a sign of a purpose for me besides to reproduce and keep the species rolling.

I don't know how I'd classify you... I say you're agnostic because you don't seem to actively reject the possibility of God's existence, but actually you do seem to believe in God. Maybe you're a deist? You don't really need a label, in my opinion. Every human being seeks a philosophy, a set of moral rules to live by. Whether your choice falls under the definition of 'religion' or not doesn't matter as long as you're happy with it.

I think you are very bright and level headed and you don't need a religion to tell you what to think.

While I appreciate the human need to put everything into neat categories, have you considered that you don't need to categorize everything about your life right now? Give it some time. You'll figure out what you are sooner or later. I know you want it to be sooner, but some things really can't be rushed. There's lots of time.
