ok so im starting my karate class soon, i think in about 2-4 weeks their still setting up the class. I would like to practice as much as i can before the class, should i work on be more flexible? or should i get more mussel? or would geting more mussel make being flexible harder? I know i sound stupid, but this is the first sport im joining in sense i was lik 5, and im 14 now. Im not fat, just weak, and not flexible. What will I need for karate more?

Probably the best thing to do is work on flexibility, and some cardio could not hurt. It takes a while to get really flexible, so a head start will do you some good.

Relax young one. Karate will help you grow physically, mentally, and It will give you flexibility. You dont need to put on muscle for Karate. Just do some basic stretching, and do a little bit of reading on Karate via internet or books. It helps to know about your style.

Goodluck
