I'm trying to develop a sarcastic sense of humor?

I want funny in a sarcastic yet non-offensive way. I'm not sure how to go about being funny in that mannor. How can I do this?

You probably dont want to hear this, but im dating a guy who is very sarcastic and im almost to the point where i wanna tell him thats its not workin for me. I feel like its a cover up and an excuse for not being serious about anything. I have a great sense of humor, and i think thats what attracted him to me. I can handle humor and sarcasm, but it can be taken offensive and has to be paced. Too much is NOT a good thing. Im seriously annoyed with it and am trying to get him to use it less, although im failing miserably. Dont get too into it buddy, I dont know one other girl that could put up with it like this.
Oh, and to answere your question, you dont learn it, it's a wit thing you just have inside you.

why, because sarcasm is "in"? people are born with their own sense of what is funny, you're not supposed to "adopt" a sense of humor, you have one already. you're just supposed to find it.

Just watch Greg Giraldo on the Comedy Channel. Oh, I forgot, he overdosed on drugs and is dead. Well, you can still see him on Youtube. Probably one of the world's most cynical, sarcastic people.

I'm not sure you can do pure sarcasm in a non-offensive way, at least not if it's directed at the people you are talking to. Now, if you were in a group of people, and were sarcastic about some person not in the group, that might be funny, but it might also reflect badly on you.

You can't become like that, sorry you really can't. You either have a sarcastic sence of humour or you don't, your just born that way. But if you really do insist on trying it you need to have a really fast wit and come up with funny analogies to things which are false and hence sarcastic yet not in an offenceive but bordering way.
