In Heaven, would you still be interested in the events on Earth?

I was thinking about death the other day, and thinking what a bummer it would be if I died before Friday and didn't get to see the new Men in Black movie.

If you're in Heaven, would there still be silly desires like that?
And what would you wish to get to see?

And no, I'm not sick, I just have a morbid mind.

Actually in heaven they released that movie last week. Jesus told me all about it. It's supposedly better than part 2, but not as good as 1. And really, 1 wasn't as good as we remember, it was just some movie.

It's kind of weird. Supposedly in heaven there's no sin. So we won't try to look up the angels' skirts? (Or whatever). We won't be jealous of God's power? We won't, as you say, want to sneak down and catch a movie?

If all our wrong desires are magically removed, would we really still be ourselves? Also, what happens to free will? Is that suddenly thrown out the window once we are in heaven?

that's the great bait and switch of the bible that people just don't see. On one hand--when a loved on dies--you'll here--we'll all be together again. If you read the book, however, you'll see that things like your wife or husband will become meaningless because you'll be basking in the joy of praising the god. Translation: Yes you'll see your loved ones in the hereafter--but they won't notice you or spend time with you because they would rather praise their god eternally. If that isn't sick--I don't know what is. I think I'd rather just have people die--as opposed to not knowing or caring about them myself and being ignored by them as well. What a sicko religion--and it's adherents don't even go through the logical ramifactions of the dogma taught in the book.

Depending upon whom you listen to, you have no earthly desires in heaven, and you spend all your time singing the praises of god. That doesn't leave much time for sci fi movies.

I don't believe so because it's so much better there that we will forget all about earthly things, and have no further interest unless it's something we have to be involved in like meeting a newcomer in heaven, and the second coming when all the saints will come with the Lord.
