in sims 2 bon voyage, when a sim gets back from vacation why does it take them back

to the same spot? When I play sims 2 voyage, and I take my fam to their vacation home and after when they get back why does it take them to the same spot and on the edit part of the house and I can't even play the family. It only shows me to edit the house and when I try to play the family normally, it says there on vacation when they already came back before.

Sounds like a terrible glitch. Have you tried restarting the game? Sometimes that'll work, sometimes not.
