There's no way we can answer that question, since we're not YOUR inrurance agent; only he/she can answer it. It will be high, however. Putting your dad on as primary driver won't work, especially if he's already listed as primary on another car; the insurance companies have seen all those tricks. If you're primary on the Supra, you'll have to pay primary rates.

I know that in Michigan you could get it, but not knowing which State you are from precludes an accurate answer. A 17 year old with a clean record will pay more for insurance than his 30 year old counterpart with the same clean record, but you can get it.

Yes, you could fraudulently have your father get insurance listing him as the primary driver and then when you have an accident, his rates will go sky high and/or he will be cancelled. It's done all the time, but it's not a great idea.

Make an anonymous call to any agency to find out the cost.
