I've been trying for days to think of something to write about for my 12 page argumentative essay. I need a bit of help.
I don't want something cliché like abortion, gun rights, death penalty, global warming, etc.
Something new and exciting.
My ideas so far, so you have a general idea of what I'm talking about:
Social networking sites (benefits for society, individuals. harmful effects)
Autism (the unexplained rise we are experiencing, has many theories)
Separation of Church and State (is there such a thing?)
Mental Illness (Therapy vs. Medication. Also, there is much controversy about what constitutes as mental illness and if it exists at all)
Banning books in the public school system (self explanatory. benefits? harm?)
Stereotyping in the media
Ok so that's what I've got so far. Any additional help would be greatly appreciated.
And please don't just copy and paste a big list of topics that I can easily access by using google. I want some innovation here! :]
