ok so i have to right an argumentative essay and i choose high school education. so here is my first argument.
would high school be more interesting and beneficial to students if they taught career courses instead of basic courses? what i mean by this is if high school taught you your career courses instead of putting you in just math and english and reading and gym and things like that, just plan classes. i think it would be more useful for students to get a glimpse of what the career they want to do will be like, AND providing skills and knowledge about it before going of to collage just so you are more prepared for taking courses on your career just to already have some skills and feel comfortable with it. my second argument is, if you have already learned the basics like reading, writing, spelling and simple math what more do you need to know? those things should only be taught pre K through middle school and then high school should be about getting ready for your career.
what do you guys think?
I actually already covered those questions. Heres what I think. First things first that happens to many people either way. They'll go to collage and take courses on something there not sure about and now they wasted money. However, with this situation you would be going to high school and take courses of your Interest. If it's what you want to do or not. Just to get an understanding about a career and the type of work you will be doing. Now what courses you need to take well there's always counclers to help you with that. Even if the student were to take a course they would be learning different skills each time. Skills that could actually be useful in the future. But true, high school is only four years but four years of knowledge and skills on different career choices
