I am in this student led presentation group thing in school (I'm in the upper Sixth, which is equivalent to senior year in high school) and I have to give a presentation on a topic of my choice next week. I feel like all the other presentations were either Maths related or about Philosophy and I think we need some Biology or social science mixed in the only problem is I can't think of an interesting topic to talk about.
I want something thought provoking and educational, yet simple enough that I can explain to a bunch of Maths-y people (who still believe Biology is a pseudo-science). I was thinking something along the lines of genetics (which means we can get into determinism) but I don't know...it seems kind of boring...
any ideas?
