...classic British racing motorbike? Hello everyone, We own a pristine original rare as hens teeth 1950 Vincent Black Lightning racing bike. There were only 32 ever made! Because of the sheer value and rarity, we are paranoid about taking it out to display at classic vehicle shows etc. Any bike is so easy to lift up and steal, no matter what security measures you try. The bike needs a rolling road to start, which we have. It would need to be tailored to make life easier (my other half is in his mid fifties with a bad back). It seems a shame that we do nothing with the Vincent except to just gaze and stroke it away from public view. To be honest we don't want to risk racing the bike, as it's just too risky when it is so perfectly preserved. We would love to perhaps hire it out for photographic, advertising, promotional and film work. How would we go about this? It would be good to help earn some cash to help towards funding our bike. We live in Essex, England and here are 2 of my Youtube videos I made of the Vincent. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQrAIijKWTs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=axLYJdHKoB8
