I need to write a really good persuasive essay for my English folio, as I really need a good grade. My teacher told me not to write about the following: euthanasia, capital punishment, drinking age, smoking ban, abortion, racism or the NHS, as these are common topics, and i want to write about something unusual. I really have no idea what to write about, though. I'd like to write about a social topic, but I want it to be interesting. Please can somebody suggest something? Thanks!
 
Homosexualtiy is a great subjuect!
Teenage Obesity is another.
Bullying and how it effects the school systems.

Those are just a few I thought about.
 
Convince them on why your favorite color is better than another. Or why your favorite restaurant is the best. Health care debate is also a good topic. Or why Global warming doesn't exist. Global warming has a lot of information on why it doesn't exist, look up the moon, solar storms, sun spots, plate tectonics, ocean currents.
