Everytime I download a big torrent from piratebay my internet disconnects, i'm downloading from a wireless connection. When it disconnects it makes all the other laptops around my house disconnect from the internet too, so i stop the torrent from downloading and try to reconnect to the internet but it doesent work. The only way I get the internet back up is by switching off the main router in the house for 10-20 seconds. I can only download big torrents when I put a cable from the laptop to the main router ( not the belkin router, the virgin media router ) and it downloads really fast, i guess wireless internet can't download big torrents? my question is, is there anyway to get my internet from not disconnecting from the internet or cant i download big torrents wirelessly?
Also when i download from Limewire, i can only download like 4 songs at a time because if i download more than 4 my internet disconnects.
What router would i need to get upgraded, the Belkin router or the Virgin Media router?
