hi, I recently got a Iphone 3g, and I want to restore it to the backup of my ipod Touch 4g, But when I go Restore, It doesnt have an option to restore it to the backup of my ipod, please help!
If I Wipe everything off the iphone and select 'restore from backup' I can select my ipods backup, but it comes up with the error:
"The backup "ipod" can not be restored to this iphone because the software on the iphone is too old
to restore this iphone from this backup, you must first setup this iphone as new and update to the latest version."
but when i go to update my iphone it says I already have the latest update
two other things: is 4.2.1 the highest update for iphone 3g?
and what is the easiest way to jailbreak an iphone? wether its tethered or untethered
