iPhone 4 and Blackberry 9700 sharing the same SIM-Card?

So I have an iPhone 4 right now, but I am interested in buying a Blackberry 9700 as well. I don't want to have to get two different phone numbers though, and have to inform my friends everyday about which phone I'll have with me. After tons of research I found out that the only way to do this would be to share the SIM-Cards. (Use the same SIM-Card for my iPhone, and Blackberry. And just switch it over whenever I want to use a different phone) So, I was just wondering - is this possible with the iPhone 4, and Blackberry 9700? Also, do I have to buy the phones from the same carrier?
 
No, you can't swap the SIM cards between these two phones. Apple made sure of that.
 
no you cant because the iphone 4 uses a smaller sim card than a normal phone. it is possible to buy adapters for the iphone sim card so it can fit into other phones
