If you take it to the genius bar, they will either fix it or replace it with a new one depending on if the button is fixable. This is of course only if you didn't drop it in water or anything because I'm pretty sure that the warranty doesn't cover water damage. But other than that, they ALWAYS help solve the problem especially if it's just a phone problem.
