I will be getting my first Iphone monday and was wondering is there a way to switch 4g on and off just like wifi. So that I do not accidentally use data when it's in sleep or I am not on wifi? If so How would I do it
You only use cellular when you have no wifi. If your phone is in range of wifi, it will automatically switch to wifi if you have been connected before. But if you want to turn you cellular off, just go to options, general, then cellular. You can switch it on or off from here. But you can always check you data to stay on track, you can just call *3282# and it will just send you a text with the amount of data out of the amount you have for that month. Hope this helps.
