I wouldn't flush just in case some how it does flush that will cause you a large plumber bill down the road. The phone is useless. It may have received the call (kinda surprised it lasted long enough for you to call it) but I would say there is less than a 1% chance of you pulling the phone out and it working. I have dropped phones in water before and was able to grab them and pull the battery out. Usually if you pull the battery right away and let the phone dry for a day or two, it will work just fine from my experience. You don't have that option with the iPhone =/ My iPhone broke from being in a pool of water/beer for like 10 seconds..
