Okay, I have an ipod, and I have it since December of 2007. All of the sudden in the last couple months, its has been driving me insane.
My sister lost my original charger chord to the Ipod (which is 80G Ipod Video Classic), and so I have been using the USB chord for powering the ipod, meaning, hooking it up to my computer and then letting it charge. One day it wouldn't detect it (my computer). It froze up, so I disconnected it from my computer. I plugged it back into the computer and it wouldn't recognize it, yet again. I did this repeatedly and finally iTunes was able to detect it, and it said it was corrupted, but then the ipod froze again. So I just let it die (the battery) because there was nothing I could do at the time, and I thought I would let it charge up again, but now my computer won't recognize it, the ipod won't even light up or anything. Please someone help! I don't have the money for a new one!
Also, I've done the button tricks, and they don't work either.
