Ipod Touch 3G (Sept 09), tethering via bluetooth?

I was wondering, i don't have a wireless network and my parents won't want to upgrade to wireless just for an Ipod Touch at home, but i was wondering if i connect it to our familys laptop via bluetooth, will i be able to get internet access on the Ipod Touch?

nope. it an't gonna work. the BT in the touch doesn't have the hardware capabilities to do it. It really sucks too because I thought that I would be able to connect my touch BT to my Phone as a modem.

but you could set the laptop up to create a wireless network and connect your touch to the wireless network.

you can create a wirless network by your laptop and bridge the connection between your ipod and laptop then you can enjoy internet on ipod in the vicinity of your home.
