I have a 2nd generation ipod touch and I'm thinking of buying the Griffin itrip to play my music AND to charge my ipod...I need it for a car trip tomorrow and I'm wondering if I need to have my ipod playing over the speakers for it to charge my ipod? I don't want to bother the people in the car with the sound.....i just want to be able to charge it in the car since its a very long drive....
