A friend is selling his iPhone 3G (not 3G S) with 8GB of storage for $150. Is that a good price?
Remember that the ATT.com prices come with a 2 year contract. I've heard so many bad things about AT&T's iPhone service that I wanted to test it out without the two year commitment.
I have AT&T now with a flip phone. I don't have problems, but I've noticed dropped calls when talking to iPhone people.

Thats a horrible deal. Like the person above said go to at&t or bestbuy you can get it for $99 for 8 gb. http://www.wireless.att.com/cell-phone-service/packages/packages-details.jsp?q_package=sku4670287

Edit: You can use for 30 days at most and return if you don't like it. (pretty sure unless that is just if something is wrong you have to go into a store and ask about that)

yea these people are right or you could get a iphone 4 16gb with a new 2 year contract to at&t for $199

No way. You can get that for $99 straight from AT&T. Why pay more?

edit: Get it for 30 days. If you don't like it, return it.

You have to pay for cell service anyway, so don't take the contract into consideration if the phone works for you.

It's not a bad price but AT&T has a 30 day try out policy. You can get a 4 or a 3gs under contract and use it for up to 30 days. If you don't get decent coverage, just return the phone and cancel the contract. At most, there's a restocking charge of $35. That's a lot less than $150.
