...Hdmi, and only 384MB of Video ram?
A lot of people say get a Macbook pro and I understand the argument. They are well built and do look really, really nice. However, the specs just do not add up. $1,200.00 with them kind of specs? huh? Please give me a logical argument Macusers.
umm 512+ MB of Video ram is just standard now a days on high end laptops, so it has nothing to do with gaming.
I would like some mac users/mac geeks to answer this question too.

Not for me. For $1,200 I can already get a gaming computer from Asus that will smoke the 13" MBP:
ASUS - Laptop / Intel® Core™ i7 Processor / 17.3" Display / 8GB Memory / 750GB Hard Drive
Model: G73SW-BST6

Did I mention that it has 1GB video RAM and 2nd generation i7-2630QM processor, 750GB hard drive, 8GB RAM, 17.3" screen and a 2MP webcam? The MBP only has 1.3MP webcam, by the way.

Nope, they're overpriced. You're just paying for the Apple logo slapped on the back of it.

you get macs for the software and quality not for gaming. If your looking towards a media and gaming pc then go with a pc you get a pc way more powerful for the same price or less ha.
