Is a Lexus a safe car now?

Would a 2010 or 2011 model be safer since the Toyota Recall?...

Or should Lexus be avoided for a few more years?

Since Toyota didn't fix any of the problems I'd say no. Even if they had fixed the problems why buy a car from a company that put off fixing the problem for a decade even as people were hurt and killed?

Toyota fixed the floor mats and sticky gas pedals, all the black boxes analyzed so far indicated the people involved in crashes had their foot firmly planted on the gas pedal instead of a brake, few were hoaxes.
