is a minivan or suv more practical?

My 'push' present after my 2nd was a Honda Element. I absolutely LOOOOOVE it. I didn't wanna do the minivan thing to be honest, but they do look soconvenient. But do you really need all that space with two kids? We had a Blazer with our 1st and it worked out really well too. Could you try renting a suv or a minivan for a week or so to get the idea? Or borrow one from a friend for a day or just tag along in it to get the idea? Good luck, let us know what you decide.

A mini will provide more passenger and storage room and save you gas. I had a Chevy Venture Van that got incredible mileage, like a couple hundred miles per tank and was relatively cheap to fill.

We have 4 boys and love our Uplander Mini Van. It is 7 passenger and its great on gas as well. Much better than our SUV was.
