Is a pet rabbit a good way for a guy to meet girls?

I saw a guy walking his pet rabbit on campus today and was astonished at the number of random girls that just walked up to him and started talking to him! He wasn't even that attractive looking, imo.
 
Yes,you could take the rabbit to the cinema,disco,golf,then take it to dinner and eat it.LOL,Lmao.
 
I think its kind of cute and quirky so I think it would definitely be a great way to meet girls!
